Quincy McCall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariah Pineda having to interfere. Bernie Cartwright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachariah Pineda having to interfere. In the 18th minute Quincy McCall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariah Pineda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Robby Hinojosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachariah Pineda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurent Bartley in the 32nd minute of play. Laurent Bartley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Madawaska FC's Edmund Sexton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robby Hinojosa in the 37th minute of play. Robby Hinojosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Edmund Sexton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robby Hinojosa made a kick off. Quincy McCall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Régis Bouchard hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute, Quincy McCall reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zachariah Pineda. The goal made the score 0-2. Laurent Bartley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Devon LaGarde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmund Sexton having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Régis Bouchard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Jerrold Kiser from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Zachariah Pineda's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 80th minute, Quincy McCall reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zachariah Pineda. The goal made the score 0-3. Villers AFC's Devon LaGarde got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 86 in the game by Laurent Bartley from a close distance when the talented Zachariah Pineda managed to make a qualified save. Villers AFC's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Villers AFC's Kelley Acevedo got a free kick in the 91st minute. The Madawaska FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Madawaska FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
