After having played for 12 minutes, Dwight Poe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kispiox FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dwight Poe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th match minute, Cambridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnson Deschênes to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Norbert Bergman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Cambridge getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Johnson Deschênes hit a great ball. After 19 played minutes Cambridge got a freekick which was hit by Refugio Marseau. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Aviles in the 22nd minute of play forced Kispiox FC's goalkeeper Demarcus Doty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilbert Bellamy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Cambridge got a freekick which was hit by Johnson Deschênes. When Norbert Bergman came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Kispiox FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norbert Bergman couldn't finish the play. Dwight Poe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Bergman in the 30th minute of play forced Cambridge's goalkeeper Wilbert Bellamy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theirn Santana hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. A hard shot 33 in the game by Son Hackett from a close distance when the talented Demarcus Doty managed to make a qualified save. Kispiox FC's players were relieved. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Valentin Aviles got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Demarcus Doty was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Valentin Aviles capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valentin Aviles really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Johnson Deschênes hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, Cambridge's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Bergman came free, but Wilbert Bellamy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 56thth minute of the game Norbert Bergman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cambridge's Wilbert Bellamy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 62 played minutes, Cambridge's Nicolas Bishop shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Demarcus Doty came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cambridge reached it. The Kispiox FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a little luck, Cambridge's Wilbert Bellamy got control of the ball when Dwight Poe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Son Hackett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Demarcus Doty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Son Hackett in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demarcus Doty saved Kispiox FC from getting behind. After having played for 92 minutes, Valentin Aviles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
