Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emon Diaz started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emon Diaz in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilbert Bellamy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the game, Everette Lebrun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Wilbert Bellamy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Delbert Avare was a little too slow when Valentin Aviles got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, Valentin Aviles notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Coppermine's Delbert Avare. Delbert Avare was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilbert Bellamy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everette Lebrun, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Willian House's late challenge caught a Coppermine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willian House helped the player get up and apologised. Willian House kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emon Diaz in the 22nd minute of play forced Cambridge's goalkeeper Wilbert Bellamy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hiram Esposito's late challenge caught a Cambridge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hiram Esposito helped the player get up and apologised. Hiram Esposito hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Johnson Deschênes was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Cambridge's Johnson Deschênes got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Son Hackett stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Son Hackett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Valentin Aviles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delbert Avare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Emon Diaz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coppermine fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Everette Lebrun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbert Bellamy having to interfere. When Emon Diaz came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Coppermine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emon Diaz couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Cambridge getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Valentin Aviles hit a great ball. Wilbert Bellamy made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Emon Diaz sent off a good shot on target. If Emon Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emon Diaz got free with Wilbert Bellamy in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 96 minutes into the match, Cambridge's goalkeeper Wilbert Bellamy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emon Diaz. Coppermine were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cambridge to leave the ground with a draw.
