Spectators: 7658 (Terracing: 5745, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robby Hinojosa started the match with the kick off. Villers AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Dewitt Jobin scored to the left of an out of position Zachariah Pineda, making the score, 1-0. Zachariah Pineda made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dewitt Jobin in the 10th minute. Zachariah Pineda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aimé Tidwell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 minutes of play, Woodlands F.C's Dewitt Jobin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zachariah Pineda was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Dewitt Jobin made a precise shot to the right of Zachariah Pineda. Villers AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 22nd match minute, Villers AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lonnie Sheppard to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Villers AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aimé Tidwell came free, but Zachariah Pineda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tracey Thomason recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aimé Tidwell in the 34th minute of play forced Villers AFC's goalkeeper Zachariah Pineda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dewitt Jobin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aimé Tidwell in the 38th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Zachariah Pineda kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 4-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Villers AFC's Zachariah Pineda proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Villers AFC from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Woodlands F.C made a substitution. Jessie Arpin replaced Aimé Tidwell. Woodlands F.C's Stanton Denton was substituted for Ernest Bériault. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jessie Arpin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Villers AFC's zone, Jessie Arpin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zachariah Pineda came out of the goal and Jessie Arpin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute Jessie Arpin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariah Pineda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute of the game, Jessie Arpin landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 61 minutes into the game, one of Villers AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dewitt Jobin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stanton Denton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robby Hinojosa scored 4-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adam Zimmer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Dewitt Jobin came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Woodlands F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dewitt Jobin couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the game, Kelley Acevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villers AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Woodlands F.C the free kick. After 80 played minutes Villers AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kelley Acevedo. After 81 minutes, Tracey Thomason mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Woodlands F.C and the Villers AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robby Hinojosa in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adam Zimmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dewitt Jobin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes Woodlands F.C got a freekick which was hit by Stanton Denton. Devon LaGarde struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Adam Zimmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villers AFC. There was no doubt that Woodlands F.C were the better team. Woodlands F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
