Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) Norbert Bergman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Demarcus Doty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentin Prince, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Bergman in the 8th minute of play forced Greenspond FC's goalkeeper Bryce Levy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prosper Bourdette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Demarcus Doty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kispiox FC's Demarcus Doty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentin Prince in the 12th minute of play. Demarcus Doty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prosper Bourdette in the 17th minute of play. When Prosper Bourdette came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Greenspond FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prosper Bourdette couldn't finish the play. Prosper Bourdette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demarcus Doty having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kispiox FC defense, Florentin Prince kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Demarcus Doty. The Kispiox FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demarcus Doty should have stopped the shot. Hector Cardwell's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Bryce Levy on his right side and into the goal. 41 minutes into the game it was 1-2. After the first half Greenspond FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florentin Prince to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Kispiox FC's Norbert Bergman got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 58th play minute Prosper Bourdette came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Demarcus Doty. 1-3. If Norbert Bergman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Kispiox FC's Dwight Poe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bryce Levy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Prosper Bourdette had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demarcus Doty. Kispiox FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prosper Bourdette was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 72 minutes into the match, Greenspond FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Bergman came free, but Bryce Levy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Florentin Prince managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Greenspond FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florentin Prince was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Norbert Bergman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryce Levy having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Norbert Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryce Levy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
