Spectators: 6732 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 0) Igloolik's Kelvin Gallegos got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute, Donovan Duclos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Igloolik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Kelvin Gallegos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kelvin Gallegos fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Igloolik's protests and gave Kelvin Gallegos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Greenspond FC booed when Igloolik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kelvin Gallegos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes Igloolik's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marshall Wright who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Greenspond FC's corner Marshall Wright fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Matthew Murillo quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Florentin Prince's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matthew Murillo was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 31 played minutes Greenspond FC got a freekick which was hit by Juste Franco. Matthew Murillo was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Florentin Prince capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Florentin Prince really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Igloolik's Matthew Murillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Igloolik from getting a goal against them. Florentin Prince received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Matthew Murillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Prosper Bourdette ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthew Murillo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute, Stan Foote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Cleveland was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Prosper Bourdette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Murillo having to interfere. Florentin Prince struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Matthew Murillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greenspond FC. If Prosper Bourdette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bryce Levy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kelvin Gallegos in the 79th minute of the match. Igloolik's Matthew Murillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prosper Bourdette in the 88th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Greenspond FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Igloolik had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
