Spectators: 6736 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1736, VIP seats: 0) Elden Bacon started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd minute, Lawnhill FC's Wesley Simmons ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arturo Prater. Arturo Prater yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 6 minutes, Elden Bacon made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lawnhill FC's Tommy Fontaine tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Armand-Lavergne were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Lawnhill FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tony Beatty took the corner. Randolph Coffey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Armand-Lavergne's Elden Bacon in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lawnhill FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 27 minutes of play, Armand-Lavergne's Curtis Adair made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Fontaine was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32ndth minute of the game Elden Bacon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lawnhill FC's Tommy Fontaine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Fontaine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randell Burgess in the 33rd minute of play. Arturo Prater took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Randolph Coffey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40thth minute of the game Elden Bacon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lawnhill FC's Tommy Fontaine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Curtis Adair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Armand-Lavergne were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tony Beatty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Fontaine having to interfere. After 53 played minutes Armand-Lavergne got a freekick which was hit by Curtis Adair. Isreal Kurtz, 55 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Lawnhill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Randell Burgess came free, but Tommy Fontaine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Elden Bacon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Fontaine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Randell Burgess got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Fontaine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elden Bacon in the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Lawnhill FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Florian Clement hit a great ball. After 78 played minutes Armand-Lavergne got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Sewell. If Wesley Simmons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elden Bacon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Fontaine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. If Curtis Adair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Fontaine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elden Bacon in the 96th minute of play. Armand-Lavergne played a much better game than Lawnhill FC and deserved their victory. The Lawnhill FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
