Shelton Rowley's late challenge caught a Armand-Lavergne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shelton Rowley helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Musquodoboit FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shelton Rowley to maneuver through the defense. Hayden Ouellet had great luck who in the 5thth minute grab hold of the ball when Elden Bacon from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Tony Beatty charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Beatty the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Armand-Lavergne's Tony Beatty got a free kick in the 16th minute. Elden Bacon took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hayden Ouellet. Hayden Ouellet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Arturo Prater showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corin Lockwood, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Curtis Adair hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corin Lockwood in the 29th minute of play forced Armand-Lavergne's goalkeeper Arturo Prater to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Shelton Rowley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Musquodoboit FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Shelton Rowley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arturo Prater breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arturo Prater made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blaise John in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute Corin Lockwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Prater saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elden Bacon in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hayden Ouellet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Armand-Lavergne's Emon Bledsoe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emon Bledsoe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Armand-Lavergne protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emon Bledsoe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Armand-Lavergne! Rickey Ashby shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Arturo Prater showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blaise John in the 46th minute of the match. Modesto Little kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

A collision led to Armand-Lavergne getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Chance Hough hit a great ball. Arturo Prater took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Corin Lockwood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Shelton Rowley dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arturo Prater, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corin Lockwood in the 66th minute of play forced Armand-Lavergne's goalkeeper Arturo Prater to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Prater came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Musquodoboit FC's Dion Faust. But to his dismay, Dion Faust quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Arturo Prater took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shelton Rowley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Arturo Prater successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Armand-Lavergne booed when Musquodoboit FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shelton Rowley didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Musquodoboit FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
