Norman Avalos came out of the goal and Corin Lockwood tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Abel Inman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Corin Lockwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Norman Avalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Minh Allred fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Musquodoboit FC's protests and gave Minh Allred a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Musquodoboit FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Minh Allred hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Corin Lockwood made a precise shot to the right of Norman Avalos. Deseronto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 30th minute Blaise John shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norman Avalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Joshua Inman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Graig Chamberlain stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Dion Faust was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Musquodoboit FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deseronto the free kick. A collision led to Musquodoboit FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Dion Faust hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Deseronto's Emory Shaver tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. During the 58th minute of the match Minh Allred completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Minh Allred a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 58th minute, one of Musquodoboit FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Musquodoboit FC. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Deseronto. Emory Shaver stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hayden Ouellet. 1-2. Blaise John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Musquodoboit FC's Hayden Ouellet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolphe Caouette in the 66th minute of play. In the 76th minute Abel Inman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayden Ouellet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
