Spectators: 6753 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1753, VIP seats: 0) Parkview's Shad Crews started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Parkview's Elias Thomson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurtis Boisvert in the 4th minute of play. Shad Crews sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lyle Boyce might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Thomson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lyle Boyce ran back to his position shaking his head. Elias Thomson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lyle Boyce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shad Crews received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ernesto Deschamps tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26 played minutes, Miniota's Gino Rader shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elias Thomson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Miniota reached it. In the 27th minute, Ed McCoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Temple kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Avery Valenzuela struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Elias Thomson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miniota. When Lyle Boyce got free in front of the goal in the 33rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Elias Thomson was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Elias Thomson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lyle Boyce in the 36th minute of the match. Ernesto Deschamps stood somewhat misplaced when Collin Lindsay came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 38 minute. Kurtis Boisvert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Thomson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Miniota's goalkeeper Ernesto Deschamps had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Collin Lindsay. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lyle Boyce was the one to do the kick off. Martin Temple got his second yellow card in the match during the 59th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Martin Temple kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Lyle Boyce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Thomson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Collin Lindsay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Miniota getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Maria Veilleux hit a great ball. Ed McCoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bryce Cartwright charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bryce Cartwright the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lyle Boyce scored 1-1 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elias Thomson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lyle Boyce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Thomson having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Collin Lindsay in the 79th minute of play forced Miniota's goalkeeper Ernesto Deschamps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Collin Lindsay in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Deschamps prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Rickie Potts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parkview's supporters rose to their feet, but Rickie Potts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Deschamps breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute Collin Lindsay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Deschamps saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Avery Valenzuela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyle Boyce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Miniota booed when Parkview was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickie Potts didn't get a good kick on the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
