The supporters of Miniota booed when Mammamattawa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erin Tyler didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Miniota's Lyle Boyce in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mammamattawa AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Miniota's Lyle Boyce got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Rocky Platt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the match, Miniota's goalkeeper Ernesto Deschamps had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jamar Beauchamp. Alonso Cummings charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonso Cummings the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocky Platt in the 17th minute of play forced Miniota's goalkeeper Ernesto Deschamps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonso Cummings kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Miniota's Ernesto Deschamps played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocky Platt in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Miniota's goal looked a bit too open when Rocky Platt came free, but Ernesto Deschamps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raymond Brochu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lyle Boyce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heriberto Calloway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorsey Hearn in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Miniota booed when Mammamattawa AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raymond Brochu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mammamattawa AFC's zone, Lyle Boyce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heriberto Calloway came out of the goal and Lyle Boyce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mammamattawa AFC's Rocky Platt got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rocky Platt made a kick off. Ernesto Deschamps made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rocky Platt in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Mammamattawa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Brochu to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes, Miniota's Amado Contreras shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Heriberto Calloway came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Miniota reached it. A hard shot by Gino Rader from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Heriberto Calloway's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After having played for 61 minutes, Dorsey Hearn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miniota's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dorsey Hearn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, one of Miniota:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Jamar Beauchamp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Miniota defense, Rocky Platt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ernesto Deschamps. The Miniota fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ernesto Deschamps should have stopped the shot. If Rocky Platt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyle Boyce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heriberto Calloway having to interfere. Lyle Boyce who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Heriberto Calloway when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jamar Beauchamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mammamattawa AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
