Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Ambrose Lemons cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Elias Thomson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Melvin Goguen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elias Thomson. Parkview's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ambrose Lemons's late challenge caught a Parkview's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ambrose Lemons helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Ambrose Lemons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Collin Lindsay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Collin Lindsay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dwain Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Jefferey Ernst was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Malachi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Parkview the free kick. Jefferey Ernst kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Malachi's goalkeeper Dwain Dillon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Malachi's Dwain Dillon got control of the ball when Rickie Potts tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Collin Lindsay came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Parkview fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Collin Lindsay couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Malachi's goal looked a bit too open when Shad Crews came free, but Dwain Dillon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shad Crews was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Collin Lindsay notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Malachi's Dwain Dillon. Dwain Dillon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loyd Vadeboncoeur got free with Elias Thomson in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ambrose Lemons fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Thomson having to interfere. Elias Thomson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrose Lemons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Loyd Vadeboncoeur struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Elias Thomson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malachi. 69 minutes into the match, Malachi's goal looked a bit too open when Collin Lindsay came free, but Dwain Dillon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Thomson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loyd Vadeboncoeur, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Parkview's goalkeeper Elias Thomson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Loyd Vadeboncoeur. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Loyd Vadeboncoeur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Malachi's supporters rose to their feet, but Loyd Vadeboncoeur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Thomson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Dufresne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Thomson having to interfere. The supporters of Malachi booed when Parkview was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shad Crews didn't get a good kick on the ball.
