Mike English came out of the goal and Rocky Platt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heriberto Calloway showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Grady in the 14th minute of the match. Raymond Brochu hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes, Erin Tyler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mammamattawa AFC and the Sarrail players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Mammamattawa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erin Tyler to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dick Walton in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heriberto Calloway prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Sarrail's Teodoro Grady in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mammamattawa AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Heriberto Calloway made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dick Walton in the 31st minute of play. Heriberto Calloway stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Grady's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Rocky Platt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Mike English tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jamar Beauchamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Mike English made a huge save. In the 41stth minute of the game Teodoro Grady who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mammamattawa AFC's Heriberto Calloway was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teodoro Grady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Heriberto Calloway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertrand Early during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sarrail getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Bertrand Early hit a great ball. After 69 minutes, Dick Walton made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Mammamattawa AFC's Heriberto Calloway tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With an all-out effort, Sarrail's Heriberto Calloway threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodoro Grady, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocky Platt in the 76th minute of play forced Sarrail's goalkeeper Mike English to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sarrail's Bertrand Early got a free kick in the 81st minute. Mike English didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rocky Platt went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Mammamattawa AFC booed when Sarrail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garry Vaughn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jamar Beauchamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike English having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Mammamattawa AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thaddeus Galvan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rocky Platt in the 92nd minute of play forced Sarrail's goalkeeper Mike English to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodoro Grady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Heriberto Calloway tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th play minute Dick Walton came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Heriberto Calloway. 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sarrail eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
