Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Malachi's Ambrose Lemons started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Brendan Peoples mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ingleside and the Malachi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 2 played minutes Ingleside got a freekick which was hit by Brendan Peoples. In the 3rd minute, Loyd Vadeboncoeur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Narcisse Arsenault was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Malachi getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Val Burkett hit a great ball. Bruno Dufresne hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Brent Bryson notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Malachi's Dwain Dillon. Dwain Dillon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 18 minutes into the match, Ingleside's Faustino Bain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dwain Dillon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Kip Dunn fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ingleside's protests and gave Kip Dunn a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ingleside's Kip Dunn got a free kick in the 20th minute. Loyd Vadeboncoeur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Narcisse Arsenault made a huge save. In the 24th minute, Ingleside's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Curtis Rhodes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Narcisse Arsenault took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrose Lemons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brent Bryson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dwain Dillon having to interfere. Narcisse Arsenault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrose Lemons in the 33rd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Kip Dunn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Ambrose Lemons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 39th minute, Ross Morgan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes in the game, Loyd Vadeboncoeur fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Narcisse Arsenault having to interfere. Narcisse Arsenault took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Dufresne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Faustino Bain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dwain Dillon having to interfere. After 61st play minutes Faustino Bain shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Dwain Dillon and just under the crossbar into goal. Brent Bryson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Dwain Dillon made a huge save. If Faustino Bain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loyd Vadeboncoeur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brent Bryson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Dwain Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dwain Dillon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Bain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brent Bryson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Faustino Bain came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ingleside fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustino Bain couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute Faustino Bain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dwain Dillon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
