Dwain Dillon came out of the goal and Leopoldo Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Loyd Vadeboncoeur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Cornett having to interfere. John Cornett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrose Lemons, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Mattice's John Cornett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrose Lemons in the 18th minute of play. Leopoldo Navarro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dwain Dillon having to make a save. Branden Irvin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dwain Dillon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Branden Irvin in the 29th minute of the match. Branden Irvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dwain Dillon having to interfere. In the 35th match minute, Malachi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Dufresne to maneuver through the defense. When Bruno Dufresne fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malachi's protests and gave Bruno Dufresne a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th match minute, Malachi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Dufresne to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute Ambrose Lemons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Cornett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loyd Vadeboncoeur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Cornett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Navarro in the 56th minute of play forced Malachi's goalkeeper Dwain Dillon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Mattice's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrose Lemons came free, but John Cornett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Mattice's John Cornett got control of the ball when Loyd Vadeboncoeur tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Mattice getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Desmond Hodges hit a great ball. The supporters of Mattice booed when Malachi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Dufresne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mattice's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
