Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) Bellburns's Kent Hathaway started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Bellburns's zone, Jean Blanchard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohammad Merchant came out of the goal and Jean Blanchard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dominic Ivey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Hathaway in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, Connors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Cox to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match Collin Huard shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dominic Ivey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aurelio Flaherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dominic Ivey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnathan Walker hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Kent Hathaway managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bellburns's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Hathaway was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominic Ivey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16thth minute of the game Aurelio Flaherty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Connors FC's Dominic Ivey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Johnathan Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Connors FC defense, Aurelio Flaherty kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dominic Ivey. The Connors FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dominic Ivey should have stopped the shot. After 24 played minutes Bellburns got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Flaherty. 27 minutes into the match, Bellburns's Kent Hathaway sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dominic Ivey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mohammad Merchant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Len Loiseau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Len Loiseau in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mohammad Merchant saved Bellburns from getting behind. When Kent Hathaway came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Bellburns fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Hathaway couldn't finish the play. Bellburns's Aurelio Flaherty got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Mohammad Merchant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Len Loiseau in the 57th minute of the match. Dominic Ivey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Flaherty in the 59th minute. Orlando Whitfield hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Marcel Gonzales missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 69 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Mohammad Merchant right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Len Loiseau in the 71st minute of play forced Bellburns's goalkeeper Mohammad Merchant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Len Loiseau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Len Loiseau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mohammad Merchant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
