Spectators: 6724 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 0) Connors FC's Len Loiseau started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jean Blanchard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Modestine Miron having to make a save. Len Loiseau took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modestine Miron. Modestine Miron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Darrell Bledsoe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Dominic Ivey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modestine Miron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Len Loiseau, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Colwell FC booed when Connors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Len Loiseau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Len Loiseau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emerson Arcouet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Ivey having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Connors FC's Caleb Leroux got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Emerson Arcouet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Cox in the 38th minute of play forced Colwell FC's goalkeeper Modestine Miron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Colwell FC's zone, Len Loiseau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modestine Miron came out of the goal and Len Loiseau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jean Blanchard came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Connors FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean Blanchard couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emerson Arcouet to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Emerson Arcouet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colwell FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emerson Arcouet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jean Blanchard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Darrell Bledsoe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Ivey having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Connors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Arcouet came free, but Dominic Ivey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Emerson Arcouet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominic Ivey was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Emerson Arcouet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modestine Miron was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marcel Gonzales. In the 85th minute, Colwell FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jean Blanchard fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darrell Bledsoe in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominic Ivey saved Connors FC from getting behind. Connors FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
