After having played for 4 minutes, Baptiste Poirier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edmonton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baptiste Poirier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Colwell FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Elroy Maxwell hit a great ball. Zack Chatman came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Colwell FC's Darrell Bledsoe. But to his dismay, Darrell Bledsoe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Zack Chatman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Arcouet, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute, Kip Adair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arron Arthur hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Modestine Miron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baptiste Poirier in the 33rd minute. Baptiste Poirier scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modestine Miron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lane Echeverri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Modestine Miron came out and tried to block the shot, but Lane Echeverri slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lane Echeverri in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modestine Miron saved Colwell FC from getting behind. Lane Echeverri struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Modestine Miron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edmonton. After a rather tough play, Colwell FC's Lucio Lopez got a free kick in the 44th minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Lane Echeverri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edmonton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lane Echeverri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After 51 played minutes Colwell FC got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Arcouet. Arron Arthur charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arron Arthur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arron Arthur kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Emanuel Ljungberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Modestine Miron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Edmonton's Emanuel Ljungberg in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colwell FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Lane Echeverri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Modestine Miron was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Modestine Miron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Ljungberg in the 65th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Baptiste Poirier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Modestine Miron was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. After 75 minutes Colwell FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Baptiste Poirier who took care of the corner kick. After 82nd play minutes Lane Echeverri shot 7-1, a short shot which went by Modestine Miron and just under the crossbar into goal. Modestine Miron came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Edmonton's Baptiste Poirier. But to his dismay, Baptiste Poirier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. The audience was convinced that Lane Echeverri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Modestine Miron was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Colwell FC's Modestine Miron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lane Echeverri in the 90th minute of play. Modestine Miron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baptiste Poirier, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee ended the match the Edmonton players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
