The supporters of Connors FC booed when Ethelbert was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calvin Marion didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ethelbert getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ignacio Ayala hit a great ball. Len Loiseau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean Blanchard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlen Crane having to interfere. Dominic Ivey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philibert L'Anglais in the 10th minute. If Philibert L'Anglais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Connors FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Caleb Leroux hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philibert L'Anglais in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominic Ivey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18thth minute of the game Ignacio Ayala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Connors FC's Dominic Ivey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dominic Ivey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Philibert L'Anglais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caleb Leroux kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Connors FC's Dominic Ivey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Ayala in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Ethelbert's goal looked a bit too open when Len Loiseau came free, but Arlen Crane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Jean Blanchard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Connors FC's Jean Blanchard sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arlen Crane narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Connors FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Petrie. 42 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Ethelbert's Philibert L'Anglais fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Ignacio Ayala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ignacio Ayala to strike the kick off in the second half. When Len Loiseau came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Connors FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Len Loiseau couldn't finish the play. Caleb Leroux received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arlen Crane came out and tried to block the shot, but Caleb Leroux slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 60th minute. Arlen Crane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean Blanchard in the 65th minute. Philibert L'Anglais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dominic Ivey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignacio Ayala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noel Cox during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
