Leonard Seals hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Shalalth FC's Eduardo Slaughter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Len Loiseau in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Shalalth FC's zone, Jean Blanchard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Slaughter came out of the goal and Jean Blanchard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean Blanchard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dillon Sherrill in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dominic Ivey, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lon Gamache in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dominic Ivey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, Len Loiseau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Slaughter. Shalalth FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Len Loiseau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a little luck, Connors FC's Dominic Ivey got control of the ball when Dillon Sherrill tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, one of Connors FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rolland Oneill shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Jean Blanchard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Len Loiseau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Connors FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After the first half Connors FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Lon Gamache made the kick off in the second half. If Lon Gamache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 60 minutes, Léon Covington mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Connors FC and the Shalalth FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Connors FC got a freekick which was hit by Léon Covington. In the 63rd minute Lon Gamache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Ivey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Connors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Little to maneuver through the defense. If Dillon Sherrill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Connors FC's Caleb Leroux got a free kick in the 65th minute. Len Loiseau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Shalalth FC's Dillon Sherrill in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Connors FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Jean Blanchard got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eduardo Slaughter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Len Loiseau in the 87th minute of the match. Lon Gamache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Dominic Ivey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Connors FC booed when Shalalth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lon Gamache didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Connors FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Len Loiseau hit a great ball. Eduardo Slaughter made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jean Blanchard sent off a good shot on target. The Connors FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
