The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lon Gamache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, one of Edmonton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 59 minutes into the match, Shalalth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baptiste Poirier came free, but Eduardo Slaughter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lane Echeverri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Slaughter having to interfere. The supporters of Edmonton booed when Shalalth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Solomon Allen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Lane Echeverri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Eduardo Slaughter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
