Vito Little helped the player get up and apologised. In the 5th minute, Reginald Marcheterre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ronnie Buchanan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominic Ivey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Reginald Marcheterre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dominic Ivey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robin Sumner during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Robin Sumner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Connors FC's Noel Cox got a free kick in the 26th minute. Dominic Ivey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hunter Guay in the 29th minute of play. Hunter Guay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Ivey having to interfere. Connors FC's Dominic Ivey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Connors FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Connors FC booed when Cranbrook FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronnie Buchanan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Len Loiseau scored 1-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Thomason, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dominic Ivey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginald Marcheterre in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes of play, Connors FC's Caleb Leroux made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlos Thomason was left in no man's land by his defense there! Len Loiseau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Thomason having to make a save. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Reginald Marcheterre ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlos Thomason made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Jean Blanchard sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Cranbrook FC's Ronnie Buchanan got a free kick in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Reginald Marcheterre notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Connors FC's Dominic Ivey. Dominic Ivey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 69 played minutes Cranbrook FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronnie Buchanan. Cranbrook FC's Carlos Thomason played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Len Loiseau in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Connors FC's Freeman Faure got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Noel Cox's late challenge caught a Cranbrook FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 84thth minute of the game Reginald Marcheterre who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Connors FC's Dominic Ivey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Thomason took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Len Loiseau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caleb Leroux kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Connors FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
