In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Commanda's goalkeeper Frankie Drummond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frankie Drummond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Dodge, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Don Labrie put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Frankie Drummond. The crowd rose to their feet as Commanda's Sean Coleman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tim Paradis. That made the score 2-1 after 26 minutes of play. In the 34th of the match, Agustin Ames tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Tim Paradis got in the way and made a wonderful save. Jack Dodge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frankie Drummond having to interfere. Don Labrie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frankie Drummond read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Don Labrie made a kick off. A hard shot 55 in the game by Jack Dodge from a close distance when the talented Frankie Drummond managed to make a qualified save. Commanda's players were relieved. Frankie Drummond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Labrie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Salty Beasts's zone, Agustin Ames stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Paradis came out of the goal and Agustin Ames tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salty Beasts's Don Labrie got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Davis Brunson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Commanda's Frankie Drummond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Labrie in the 73rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Salty Beasts defense, Sean Coleman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Paradis. The Salty Beasts fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Paradis should have stopped the shot. Frankie Drummond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Labrie in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Don Labrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frankie Drummond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustin Ames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
