But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Ayala couldn't finish the play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lon Gamache was the one to do the kick off. Dillon Sherrill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Arlen Crane made a huge save. After 56 played minutes Ethelbert got a freekick which was hit by Marion Palacios. If Lon Gamache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. Leonard Seals hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
