Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Len Loiseau kicked off to start the match. If Don Labrie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the game, Jack Dodge lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Dominic Ivey. Don Labrie might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dominic Ivey. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Don Labrie ran back to his position shaking his head. 25 minutes into the match, Connors FC's goalkeeper Dominic Ivey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Dodge. Jack Dodges short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Dominic Ivey to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Len Loiseau succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. In the 35th minute, Jean Blanchard made a precise shot to the right of Tim Paradis. Salty Beasts's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Jack Dodge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dominic Ivey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Salty Beasts's Don Labrie in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Connors FC's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Don Labrie to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Earle Carlton in the 52nd minute of play forced Connors FC's goalkeeper Dominic Ivey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Don Labrie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dominic Ivey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Dominic Ivey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Labrie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Don Labrie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Connors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Dodge came free, but Dominic Ivey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tim Paradis made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Jean Blanchard sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 66 minutes, Don Labrie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salty Beasts's supporters crossed their fingers, but Don Labrie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Connors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Dodge came free, but Dominic Ivey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tim Paradis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Len Loiseau in the 73rd minute of the match. Dominic Ivey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Dodge in the 75th minute of play. Caleb Leroux hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jack Dodge managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salty Beasts's supporters rose to their feet, but Jack Dodge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dominic Ivey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Len Loiseau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tim Paradis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Don Labrie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noel Cox hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Connors FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
