Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alex Clayton took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Georges Paiement managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georges Paiement was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brett Oneal hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 11 minutes into the game, Alex Clayton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Harlan Bell. Alex Clayton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Georges Paiement had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beachberg FC's Harlan Bell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Beachberg FC from getting a goal against them. Gregorio Gamble received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Garrett Logan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gordon Sims hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes Matane got a freekick which was hit by Donn Sample. Matane's Garrett Logan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Sims in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Beachberg FC's Gordon Sims got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gordon Sims received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Garrett Logan came out and tried to block the shot, but Gordon Sims slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 59th minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Beachberg FC's goalkeeper Harlan Bell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gregorio Gamble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Matane getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Clayton Crawford hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Gordon Sims shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garrett Logan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregorio Gamble fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garrett Logan having to interfere. Gordon Sims sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matane's Georges Paiement got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregorio Gamble received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Garrett Logan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garrett Logan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Sims in the 96th minute of play. The Beachberg FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Matane from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
