Bryan Manley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Michael Hudson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Paris-Saint-Germain booed when Richmond Hill United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donald Grandpré didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hobert Glovers short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Michael Hudson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bryan Manley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omer Esparza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th match minute, Paris-Saint-Germain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rashad Huffman to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Chris Webb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hobert Glover got free with Michael Hudson in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trevor Fitzgerald struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Michael Hudson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paris-Saint-Germain. After 25 played minutes Paris-Saint-Germain got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Griffin. Don Norton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryan Manley having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Richmond Hill United's goalkeeper Michael Hudson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trevor Fitzgerald. Michael Hudson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hobert Glover in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Trevor Fitzgerald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paris-Saint-Germain's supporters rose to their feet, but Trevor Fitzgerald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Hudson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Michael Hudson came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Paris-Saint-Germain's Hobert Glover. But to his dismay, Hobert Glover quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Johnson Parizeau kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Richmond Hill United's zone, Gregory Fecteau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Hudson came out of the goal and Gregory Fecteau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hobert Glover made the kick off in the second half. Johnson Parizeau kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Gonzalo Griffin kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match Leif Boudreaux sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michael Hudson skillfully saved the ball. After 57 minutes of play, Paris-Saint-Germain's Trevor Fitzgerald made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michael Hudson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Richmond Hill United defense, Hobert Glover kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Hudson. The Richmond Hill United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Hudson should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute, Hobert Glover got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Richmond Hill United's Michael Hudson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hobert Glover in the 66th minute of play. Paris-Saint-Germain's Jerome Jodion got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Richmond Hill United's Michael Hudson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerome Jodion in the 75th minute of play. Hobert Glover recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph Puckett in the 96th minute of play forced Paris-Saint-Germain's goalkeeper Bryan Manley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paris-Saint-Germain's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
