After some careless play in the Midnapore defense, Gordon Sims kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stephan Melanson. The Midnapore fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stephan Melanson should have stopped the shot. Stephan Melanson had great luck who in the 8thth minute grab hold of the ball when Gordon Sims from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Stanton Bartlett's late challenge caught a Beachberg FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stanton Bartlett helped the player get up and apologised. In the 8th minute, Stanton Bartlett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Beachberg FC's Gordon Sims sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stephan Melanson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Midnapore fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stephan Melanson should have stopped the shot. After 20 played minutes Midnapore got a freekick which was hit by Stanton Bartlett. If Gordon Sims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Midnapore:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Beachberg FC:s goal. Harlan Bell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Woodson in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Genaro Coats shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Harlan Bell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Ignace Gibson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Gordon Sims managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beachberg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gordon Sims was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephan Melanson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herman Schneider sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ignace Gibson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aron Woodson to strike the kick off in the second half. Aron Woodson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ignace Gibson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gregorio Gamble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Beachberg FC booed when Midnapore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamal Yang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gordon Sims struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Stephan Melanson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beachberg FC. A collision led to Beachberg FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Olivier Cordero hit a great ball. Beachberg FC's Harlan Bell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Woodson in the 73rd minute of play. Harlan Bell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignace Gibson in the 75th minute. Beachberg FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Ignace Gibson scored to the left of an out of position Harlan Bell, making the score, 4-2. If Gregorio Gamble had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Gamble received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Stephan Melanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gordon Sims came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Beachberg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gordon Sims couldn't finish the play. Beachberg FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Midnapore for a fine match.
