A wasted opportunity for Forward. Théophile Harper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sammy Tessier in the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Franklin Bryson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peachland FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franklin Bryson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gale Sutherland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Lyman Frazier made a precise shot to the right of Théophile Harper. Peachland FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 23rd minute Lyman Frazier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Théophile Harper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lyman Frazier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 played minutes Peachland FC got a freekick which was hit by Raymon McCord. The supporters of Forward booed when Peachland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Petersen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rueben Mathieu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Lyman Frazier came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Forward fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lyman Frazier couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sammy Tessier to strike the kick off in the second half. Lyman Frazier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Théophile Harper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Franklin Bryson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gale Sutherland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes, Jeremy Snyder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forward and the Peachland FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sammy Tessier in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Théophile Harper prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, Byron Proulx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Sammy Tessier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 played minutes Peachland FC got a freekick which was hit by Lonny Lancaster. Rueben Mathieu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Gale Sutherland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Forward's zone, Rueben Mathieu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gale Sutherland came out of the goal and Rueben Mathieu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rueben Mathieu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gale Sutherland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute Sammy Tessier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Théophile Harper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the game, Sammy Tessier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forward's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peachland FC the free kick. Sammy Tessier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franklin Bryson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Forward's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
