Garrett Logan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garrett Logan came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Paris-Saint-Germain's Hobert Glover. But to his dismay, Hobert Glover quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Paris-Saint-Germain were furious when Chris Webb was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 21 minutes into the game, one of Paris-Saint-Germain:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 27th minute Georges Paiement shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Manley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Alex Clayton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bryan Manley. Paris-Saint-Germain's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alex Clayton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Bryan Manley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georges Paiement in the 35th minute of play. When %teams%'s Jerome Jodion was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 2-3 just inside the left pole, 37 minutes into the game. Garrett Logan was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. After having played for 40 minutes, Hobert Glover managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris-Saint-Germain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hobert Glover was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Paris-Saint-Germain's Garrett Logan threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hobert Glover, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Paris-Saint-Germain's Bryan Manley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Val Winkler in the 47th minute of play. The Paris-Saint-Germain players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Matane were winning 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hobert Glover to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes, Paris-Saint-Germain's Wilford Block shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Garrett Logan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paris-Saint-Germain reached it. Garrett Logan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hobert Glover in the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Jerome Jodion managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paris-Saint-Germain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerome Jodion was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Paris-Saint-Germain's Bryan Manley got control of the ball when Georges Paiement tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute Hobert Glover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garrett Logan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paris-Saint-Germain's Jerome Jodion got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hobert Glover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Matane's zone, Hobert Glover stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garrett Logan came out of the goal and Hobert Glover tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute Alex Clayton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bryan Manley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trevor Fitzgerald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Garrett Logan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Matane's goal looked a bit too open when Jerome Jodion came free, but Garrett Logan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hobert Glover in the 82nd minute of play forced Matane's goalkeeper Garrett Logan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garrett Logan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hobert Glover's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. A collision led to Matane getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Alex Clayton hit a great ball. Jerome Jodion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garrett Logan having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Matane eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
