Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carter Rouse got the match started through his kick off. Stephan Melanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carter Rouse in the 8th minute of play. Mac Hanna made a great header on Manouane's corner, it was just that Midnapore's Stephan Melanson managed to reach the ball for a save. If Dennis Michel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carter Rouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute, Jamal Yang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute, Ignace Gibson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Midnapore fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. A collision led to Manouane getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Luigi Davies hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignace Gibson got free with Karl Ladner in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Midnapore defense, Dennis Michel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stephan Melanson. The Midnapore fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stephan Melanson should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carter Rouse in the 43rd minute of play forced Midnapore's goalkeeper Stephan Melanson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stephan Melanson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Michel, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aron Woodson to strike the kick off in the second half. Karl Ladner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignace Gibson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Midnapore's Stephan Melanson got control of the ball when Dennis Michel tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot by Dong Paquet from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Stephan Melanson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Mac Hanna hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Jamal Yang missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 71 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Karl Ladner right hand side. Karl Ladner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignace Gibson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Michel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephan Melanson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Carter Rouse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manouane's supporters rose to their feet, but Carter Rouse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephan Melanson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 played minutes Manouane got a freekick which was hit by Luigi Davies. 86 minutes into the match, Manouane's Cedrick Alvarado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stephan Melanson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Midnapore getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Herman Schneider hit a great ball. In the 89th match minute, Midnapore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jamal Yang to maneuver through the defense. Aron Woodson charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aron Woodson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 97 minutes into the match, Dennis Michel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stephan Melanson. Midnapore's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dennis Michel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the match was over Manouane could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Midnapore throughout the match.
