Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kareem Barnes kicked off to start the match. Matane's Garrett Logan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kareem Barnes in the 12th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Watino AFC's corner Ferdinand Fugère fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Garrett Logan quite easily take care of the ball. Watino AFC's Pat Kelly pulled a muscle in his back after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Georges Paiement's late challenge caught a Watino AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georges Paiement helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Matane got a freekick which was hit by Georges Paiement. Watino AFC's Vespasien Price proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Watino AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 28th minute, Jeremiah Huang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th match minute, Matane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jourdain Proctor to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Esteban Tolbert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Watino AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Matane's Clayton Crawford got a free kick in the 35th minute. A collision led to Watino AFC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Keneth Kramer hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremiah Huang in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Garrett Logan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Clayton in the 46th minute of play forced Watino AFC's goalkeeper Vespasien Price to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Alex Clayton made the kick off in the second half. If Alex Clayton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Watino AFC's Vespasien Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georges Paiement in the 56th minute of play. Matane's Alex Clayton got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Clayton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vespasien Price having to interfere. Vespasien Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Clayton in the 66th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Watino AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dean Allred. Vespasien Price made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Clayton in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of Matane booed when Watino AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Allred didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dean Allred during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Watino AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dean Allred. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Alex Clayton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matane's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Clayton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vespasien Price breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Georges Paiement ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vespasien Price was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Vespasien Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georges Paiement in the 88th minute of the match. When Jeremiah Huang came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Watino AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremiah Huang couldn't finish the play. Matane's Clayton Crawford got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
