Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) Retlaw's Danial Couturier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Richmond Hill United's Don Norton got a free kick in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Richmond Hill United's zone, Danial Couturier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michael Hudson came out of the goal and Danial Couturier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donald Grandpré hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Darell Bynum came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Retlaw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darell Bynum couldn't finish the play. In the 18th match minute, Richmond Hill United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donald Grandpré to maneuver through the defense. Darell Bynum who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Michael Hudson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donald Grandpré during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Donald Grandpré hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Retlaw's Darell Bynum got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Richmond Hill United's Michael Hudson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Richmond Hill United from getting a goal against them. Retlaw were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Richmond Hill United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ricardo Sands took the corner. 34 minutes into the game, one of Richmond Hill United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The score was 3-0 after a penalty in the 35th minute, where Retlaw:s Ricardo Sands tricked Richmond Hill United:s Michael Hudson with a difficult ball by the left post. In the 39th minute, Danial Couturier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darell Bynum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Hudson having to interfere. Michael Hudson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danial Couturier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darell Bynum's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michael Hudson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Omer Esparza notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Retlaw's Haywood Clement. Haywood Clement was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Don Norton hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Michael Hudson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danial Couturier, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute, Danial Couturier made a precise shot to the right of Michael Hudson. Richmond Hill United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Danial Couturier might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Michael Hudson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danial Couturier ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Richmond Hill United's goalkeeper Michael Hudson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Richmond Hill United's Don Norton got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Don Norton off the ground. After a rather tough play, Richmond Hill United's Don Norton got a free kick in the 75th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danial Couturier in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Hudson saved Richmond Hill United from getting behind. If Danial Couturier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haywood Clement didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Omer Esparza went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Retlaw fully deserved thier win.
