With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hobert Glover in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vespasien Price saved Watino AFC from getting behind. Jeremiah Huang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kareem Barnes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 29th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Wilford Block received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Vespasien Price tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Paris-Saint-Germain's Rashad Huffman got a free kick in the 38th minute. Vespasien Price made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trevor Fitzgerald in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Ferdinand Fugère hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hobert Glover recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute Hobert Glover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vespasien Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hobert Glover made a kick off. In the 52nd minute of the game Ashley Lajeunesse made a throw-in which Thibault Harman played forward. Jerome Jodion hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Hobert Glover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremiah Huang might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryan Manley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremiah Huang ran back to his position shaking his head. With 66 minutes on the clock, Chris Webb commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Paris-Saint-Germain:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Watino AFC:s goal. The referee gave Watino AFC a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Seymour Church, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Paris-Saint-Germain's Bryan Manley. 1-1. Hobert Glover struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Vespasien Price didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paris-Saint-Germain. If Jerome Jodion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
