Spectators: 6715 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 0) Jospeh Flynn made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sammy Tessier in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dustin Parrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 4 minutes into the match, Forward's goalkeeper Gale Sutherland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Logan Lyon. In the 5th minute, Jospeh Flynn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute, Lyman Frazier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Logan Lyon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gale Sutherland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gale Sutherland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jospeh Flynn, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Jasper Lacy fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jellicoe AFC's protests and gave Jasper Lacy a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammie McLaughlin in the 22nd minute of play forced Forward's goalkeeper Gale Sutherland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lyman Frazier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dustin Parrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dustin Parrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lyman Frazier in the 25th minute of play. Sammie McLaughlin kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jellicoe AFC's zone, Lyman Frazier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dustin Parrot came out of the goal and Lyman Frazier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 minutes, Eloy Lynch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jellicoe AFC and the Forward players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, one of Jellicoe AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jellicoe AFC. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for Forward. Dwayne Bonneville stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dustin Parrot. 0-1. Lyman Frazier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sammy Tessier might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dustin Parrot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sammy Tessier ran back to his position shaking his head. Sammy Tessier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dustin Parrot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Forward's Lyman Frazier got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sammy Tessier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dustin Parrot having to make a save. If Lyman Frazier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, Sammy Tessier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jellicoe AFC's Dustin Parrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Tessier in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When Lyman Frazier came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Forward fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lyman Frazier couldn't finish the play. In the 57th match minute, Forward was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dwayne Bonneville to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Jospeh Flynn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jellicoe AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jospeh Flynn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gale Sutherland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gale Sutherland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Logan Lyon, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Logan Lyon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gale Sutherland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lyman Frazier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. If Sammy Tessier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lyman Frazier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dustin Parrot having to interfere. A collision led to Jellicoe AFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jasper Lacy hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Logan Lyon made a precise shot to the right of Gale Sutherland. Forward's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Forward's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Jellicoe AFC had won, even though Forward had held more of the ball.
