Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emmanuel Wood started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Bruce Bates made a precise shot to the right of Woodrow Dawkins. Liscomb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Prosper Osborn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emmanuel Wood's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Liscomb were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Richmond to leave the ground with a draw.
