Spectators: 6743 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rickie Aragon took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Alliance AFC's Carlton Kimble got a free kick in the 7th minute. Josh Pépin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rickie Aragon's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Josh Pépin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickie Aragon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickie Aragon in the 27th minute of play forced Alliance AFC's goalkeeper Josh Pépin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Red Deer's Rickie Aragon in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alliance AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Rickie Aragon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alliance AFC's Josh Pépin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gavino Cebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Josh Pépin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 40th minute when Rickie Aragon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rickie Aragon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Josh Pépin having to make a save. The Alliance AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Red Deer were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlton Kimble made a kick off. Josh Pépin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Montano went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rickie Aragon got free with Josh Pépin in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Red Deer were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Alliance AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Montano took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Joel Montano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Josh Pépin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Josh Pépin made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Rickie Aragon sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute Carlton Kimble shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilton Guy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickie Aragon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Josh Pépin firmly grabbed it by the left post. Rickie Aragon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Josh Pépin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Joel Montano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Josh Pépin made a huge save. In the 76th minute, one of Alliance AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alliance AFC. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Red Deer. Joel Montano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Josh Pépin. 0-3. Joel Montano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Josh Pépin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josh Pépin made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Joel Montano sent off a good shot on target. Winford Aragon's late challenge caught a Red Deer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Winford Aragon helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Alliance AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Winford Aragon hit a great ball. Josh Pépin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gavino Cebo. Carlton Kimble recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Winford Aragon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
