Blaine McGuire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Jay Fitzpatrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monitor's supporters rose to their feet, but Jay Fitzpatrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel McKenzie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Eustache Weiss managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinorwic AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustache Weiss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chi McKee had several of the Dinorwic AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 16 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Gabriel McKenzie as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustache Weiss in the 19th minute of play forced Monitor's goalkeeper Rico Stringer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rico Stringer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blaine McGuire in the 21st minute of play. In the 30th minute, Eustache Weiss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eustache Weiss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Monitor's Lynwood Margand got a free kick in the 35th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Monitor's goal looked a bit too open when Blaine McGuire came free, but Rico Stringer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustache Weiss stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rico Stringer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustache Weiss in the 54th minute of the match. Eustache Weiss received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rico Stringer came out and tried to block the shot, but Eustache Weiss slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 57th minute. Arlie Osborn hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Chi McKee's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel McKenzie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Monitor booed when Dinorwic AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlie Osborn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monitor's Rico Stringer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Monitor from getting a goal against them. Jay Fitzpatrick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel McKenzie having to interfere. Jay Fitzpatrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eustache Weiss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Jay Fitzpatrick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monitor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jay Fitzpatrick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
