The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 9 minutes, Rickie Aragon made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bogard's Fidel McGill tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Bogard getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dorian Ramirez hit a great ball. Rickie Aragon kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 13thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Bogard's keeper Fidel McGill was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Hector Harper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rickie Aragon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Fidel McGill when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fidel McGill made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rickie Aragon in the 17th minute. After 23 played minutes Bogard got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Creech. A collision led to Red Deer getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rickie Aragon hit a great ball. If Rickie Aragon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Rickie Aragon notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Bogard's Fidel McGill. Fidel McGill was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Tyrone Fitzpatrick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rickie Aragon's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fidel McGill firmly grabbed it by the left post. Bogard's Fidel McGill proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Bogard from getting a goal against them. The wind increased when Burl Garcia made the kick off in the second half. Fidel McGill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Cebo in the 55th minute of play. Rickie Aragon took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel McGill. Fidel McGill dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Hilton Guy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burl Garcia in the 65th minute of play. Dorian Ramirez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bogard getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dorian Ramirez hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes, Red Deer's Joel Montano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fidel McGill came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Red Deer reached it. Fidel McGill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickie Aragon in the 72nd minute of play. Joel Montano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorian Ramirez during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th minute, Dorian Ramirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fidel McGill didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Red Deer's Rickie Aragon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 93rd minute Rickie Aragon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel McGill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gavino Cebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Rickie Aragon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel McGill was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Red Deer fully deserved thier win.
