Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Burl Garcia started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Richmond got a freekick which was hit by Jamie Richard. In the 12th minute, Bruce Bates made a precise shot to the right of Fidel McGill. Bogard's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bruce Bates struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Fidel McGill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Richmond. Claude Rushing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel McGill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. A collision led to Richmond getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Carol Yazzie hit a great ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Hector Harper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bogard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Harper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carol Yazzie kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match, Hector Harper got a very nice opportunity to score, but Prosper Osborn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Hector Harper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Richmond's zone, Burl Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prosper Osborn came out of the goal and Burl Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hector Harper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Dorian Ramirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Carol Yazzie sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bogard's Fidel McGill didn't even have to move. Bruce Bates blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel McGill having to make a save. Prosper Osborn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burl Garcia in the 49th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruce Bates to make the kick off. Claude Rushing fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel McGill having to interfere. Hector Harper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prosper Osborn having to interfere. Prosper Osborn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burl Garcia in the 58th minute of the match. Claude Rushings short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Fidel McGill to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bogard's Fidel McGill proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Bogard from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Bogard getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Aron Lajoie hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, Burl Garcia notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Richmond's Prosper Osborn. Prosper Osborn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bogard's Hector Harper got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Harper in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prosper Osborn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the game, Gratien Jackson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Richmond's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bogard the free kick. The supporters of Bogard booed when Richmond was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gratien Jackson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Richmond's Prosper Osborn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burl Garcia in the 85th minute of play. Jamie Richard hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Gratien Jackson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Richmond's goal looked a bit too open when Burl Garcia came free, but Prosper Osborn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
