Vito Alfaro helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willian Costa during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Valeport:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bitumount:s goal. Tyron Marion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jack Pineda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Friedman in the 16th minute of play. Colby Nguyen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carroll Beausoleil having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyron Marion in the 22nd minute of play forced Valeport's goalkeeper Jack Pineda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Colby Nguyen in the 24th minute of play forced Bitumount's goalkeeper Carroll Beausoleil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Berry Ricard fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bitumount's protests and gave Berry Ricard a yellow card for diving instead. When Colby Nguyen came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Valeport fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Colby Nguyen couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Bitumount defense, Vito Alfaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carroll Beausoleil. The Bitumount fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carroll Beausoleil should have stopped the shot. If Tyron Marion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carroll Beausoleil was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Samuel MacDonald showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 43 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Colby Nguyen in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carroll Beausoleil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Bitumount getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Berry Ricard hit a great ball. Tyron Marion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Pineda having to interfere. Jack Pineda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fredric Friedman's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Valeport's Sherman Sharp got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77thth minute of the game Fredric Friedman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valeport's Jack Pineda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vito Alfaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carroll Beausoleil having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berry Ricard got free with Jack Pineda in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Colby Nguyen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bitumount's Carroll Beausoleil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colby Nguyen in the 94th minute of play. Tyron Marion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jack Pineda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valeport were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bitumount for a fine match.
