Lanigan AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Lanigan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Coleman Cross to maneuver through the defense. Luther Dupree hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Georges Rutledge in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florencio Dobbins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chuck Sicard kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Rhett Coates took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Roman Flint to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Shipp in the 28th minute of play forced Lanigan AFC's goalkeeper Florencio Dobbins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georges Rutledge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coleman Cross kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Florencio Dobbins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Shipp in the 35th minute of the match. When Georges Rutledge came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Weenusk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georges Rutledge couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Sergio Shipp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Erich Larsen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Weenusk's goal looked a bit too open when Rhett Coates came free, but Roman Flint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rhett Coates to make the kick off. Weenusk's Roman Flint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erich Larsen in the 52nd minute of play. Rhett Coates sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chuck Sicard was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Erich Larsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanigan AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erich Larsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Flint breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lanigan AFC's goalkeeper Florencio Dobbins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Erich Larsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Lanigan AFC's Florencio Dobbins got control of the ball when Georges Rutledge tried to sneak it across the goal line. Weenusk's Roman Flint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erich Larsen in the 76th minute of play. Major Busque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rhett Coates fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Flint having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Georges Rutledge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Weenusk's Roman Flint played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erich Larsen in the 97th minute of play. Lanigan AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Weenusk for a fine match.
