Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joaquin Sampson took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 8 minutes, Teodoro Marrero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Normetal and the Hawkeye players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Normetal! Cristopher McDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wyatt Boisvert having to interfere. Cristopher McDonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Wyatt Boisvert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Tim Flynn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hawkeye's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Flynn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wyatt Boisvert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jamison Gibson's late challenge caught a Hawkeye's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jamison Gibson helped the player get up and apologised. Jamison Gibson hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Wyatt Boisvert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristopher McDonald in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Tim Flynn notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Normetal's Wyatt Boisvert. Wyatt Boisvert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th minute of the match Geraldo McMahon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wyatt Boisvert skillfully saved the ball. Ulrich Nesbitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Leonard in the 42nd minute of play. Joaquin Sampson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Normetal defense, Joaquin Sampson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wyatt Boisvert. The Normetal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wyatt Boisvert should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Ralph Leonard made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Hawkeye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Montes to maneuver through the defense. Ralph Leonard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joaquin Sampson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Normetal's Wyatt Boisvert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Normetal from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Joaquin Sampson took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Wyatt Boisvert to make any attempt to save it. Vernon Langford received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wyatt Boisvert came out and tried to block the shot, but Vernon Langford slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 64th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Vernon Langford recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wyatt Boisvert. Vernon Langford showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 73rd minute, Joaquin Sampson made a precise shot to the right of Wyatt Boisvert. Normetal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Hawkeye's Vernon Langford got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Sampson might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wyatt Boisvert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquin Sampson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 89th minute Vernon Langford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wyatt Boisvert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Adolphe Sample from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Wyatt Boisvert's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Hawkeye's Tim Flynn got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Sampson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Wyatt Boisvert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hawkeye's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
