Rudy Plummer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lonny Patenaude in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Bridgewater AFC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Stan Cottrell hit a great ball. Dario Dodson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rudy Plummer. Ponoka AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Lonny Patenaude had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Dee Engel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerome Holden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norman Ritchie's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Rudy Plummer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denny Obrien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Norman Ritchie came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Ponoka AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norman Ritchie couldn't finish the play. Jerome Holden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dee Engel went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.

Rudy Plummer didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Bridgewater AFC's Lonny Patenaude shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Lonny Patenaude fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudy Plummer having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ponoka AFC's Thibault Seymour got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 86 minutes, Cleo Henley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponoka AFC and the Bridgewater AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ponoka AFC! In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bridgewater AFC's goalkeeper Jerome Holden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 98 minutes into the match, Ponoka AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Denny Obrien came free, but Rudy Plummer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norman Ritchie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
