Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Michael Barnes made the kick off which started today's match. Colpton FC's Frances Vance played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Barnes in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Jake Jennings got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Warren Allen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jimmy Chicoine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kerry Wilkes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Frances Vance tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jimmy Chicoine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Warren Allen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Warren Allen in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimmy Chicoine saved Revelstoke AFC from getting behind. Hyman Richter struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Jimmy Chicoine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colpton FC. After a defensive mix-up in Revelstoke AFC's zone, Warren Allen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmy Chicoine came out of the goal and Warren Allen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Delmer Mercer hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute of the match Ali Brunault shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jimmy Chicoine showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hyman Richter made a kick off. A hard shot by Cedrick Talley from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Jimmy Chicoine's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After taking down the ball on Revelstoke AFC's corner Joey Blank fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frances Vance quite easily take care of the ball. Warren Allen in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jimmy Chicoine, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 74 played minutes Revelstoke AFC got a freekick which was hit by Delmer Mercer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kerry Wilkes in the 76th minute of play forced Colpton FC's goalkeeper Frances Vance to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Ochoa's late challenge caught a Revelstoke AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Ochoa helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Colpton FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Ochoa. Frances Vance showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerry Wilkes in the 78th minute of the match. Revelstoke AFC's Kerry Wilkes got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michael Barnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Frances Vance tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Kerry Wilkes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frances Vance saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Hyman Richter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colpton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hyman Richter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Revelstoke AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Hyman Richter came free, but Jimmy Chicoine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Revelstoke AFC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
