From close distance Lonny Patenaude pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 9 minutes into the game. Kory Rosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jerome Holden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kory Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kory Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hollis Lécuyer scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerome Holden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hollis Lécuyer in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerome Holden saved Bridgewater AFC from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Bolsdale's goal looked a bit too open when Denny Obrien came free, but Clark Caballero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Bridgewater AFC's Clark Caballero threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Denny Obrien, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Kory Rosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolsdale's supporters rose to their feet, but Kory Rosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerome Holden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kory Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jerome Holden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Kory Rosa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Jerome Holden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 48th minute, Renard McAllister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute of the match Matt Corley sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerome Holden skillfully saved the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denny Obrien was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Hollis Lécuyer made a precise shot to the right of Jerome Holden. Bridgewater AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After 80 minutes, Leif Triplett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolsdale and the Bridgewater AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Leif Triplett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Bridgewater AFC's Dario Dodson got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Hollis Lécuyer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edmundo Goff the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Bolsdale protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edmundo Goff had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 91st minute, one of Bolsdale:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bolsdale. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
