With his leg Hippolyte Hyde managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Revelstoke AFC's Kerry Wilkes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kerry Wilkes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rich L'Anglais to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lowell Sanchez couldn't finish the play. After 72 minutes, Jaime Gadbois mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Revelstoke AFC and the Derval FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Derval FC booed when Revelstoke AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Gadbois didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Revelstoke AFC! When the match had been going on for 76 minutes, Derval FC's Gaston Faure got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jimmy Chicoine. A collision led to Derval FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gaston Faure hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes Revelstoke AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Erickson. Lowell Sanchez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jimmy Chicoine having to make a save. After having played for 94 minutes, Kerry Wilkes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Revelstoke AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kerry Wilkes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Derval FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
