Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) Forrest Guzman made the kick off and thus started the match. 9 minutes into the match, Rockport AFC's Armel Amos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommie Gougeon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 18th minute Forrest Guzman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bradford Mayes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Archambault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, Armel Amos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Noel Archambault came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Rockport AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel Archambault couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Shipp in the 29th minute of play forced Rockport AFC's goalkeeper Bradford Mayes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Forrest Guzman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bradford Mayes. Rockport AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Forrest Guzman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Noel Archambault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tommie Gougeon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rockport AFC's Armel Amos got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Noel Archambault made a kick off. Adam Shipp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bradford Mayes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Armel Amos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Noel Archambault got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Niagara booed when Rockport AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Daly didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niagara's Tommie Gougeon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Archambault in the 82nd minute of play. Adam Shipp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bradford Mayes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Armel Amos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommie Gougeon having to interfere. Forrest Guzman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Forrest Guzman in the 97th minute of play forced Rockport AFC's goalkeeper Bradford Mayes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
