Spectators: 6739 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) Riondel FC's Diodore Clement started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Carmel AFC got a freekick which was hit by Larry Colbert. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ramiro Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmel AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ned Farmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Louie Hurt hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Riondel FC's Ned Farmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincenzo Brodeur in the 16th minute of play. When Carmel AFC's Vincenzo Brodeur in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Riondel FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 22nd minute, Vincenzo Brodeur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 24 played minutes Carmel AFC got a freekick which was hit by Antwan Simms. Joseph Akins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diodore Clement, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jae Spangler hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Diodore Clement had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicholas Ponce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ned Farmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Nicholas Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ned Farmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ned Farmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincenzo Brodeur, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

Minh Ruth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Akins having to interfere. The Riondel FC fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Riondel FC's Diodore Clement looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Minh Ruth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Joseph Akins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diodore Clement sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Minh Ruth came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Riondel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Minh Ruth couldn't finish the play. Vincenzo Brodeur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincenzo Brodeur in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ned Farmer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75th match minute, Riondel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josiah Driver to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Carmel AFC's Ramiro Arias tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Nicholas Ponce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Ned Farmer made a huge save. Minh Ruth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Joseph Akins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Antwan Simms hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute Vincenzo Brodeur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ned Farmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ned Farmer made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Nicholas Ponce sent off a good shot on target. Vincenzo Brodeur struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ned Farmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carmel AFC. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
