Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dominique Sauriol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradford Mayes having to interfere. Darrel Ohara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armel Amos, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Alec Gipson kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Jean Herrington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armel Amos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Darrel Ohara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alec Gipson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rockport AFC's Armel Amos got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Noel Archambault came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Rockport AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Noel Archambault couldn't finish the play. After 19 minutes, Guillaume Curtis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarnia and the Rockport AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sarnia getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Guillaume Curtis hit a great ball. With a little luck, Rockport AFC's Bradford Mayes got control of the ball when Guillaume Curtis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 27 played minutes Sarnia got a freekick which was hit by Alec Gipson. Armel Amos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darrel Ohara having to interfere. In the 44thth minute of the game Armel Amos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sarnia's Darrel Ohara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Armel Amos struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Darrel Ohara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rockport AFC. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dominique Sauriol was the one to do the kick off. Guillaume Curtis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Rivers hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Guillaume Curtis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmen Coles hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Noel Archambault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominique Sauriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rockport AFC's Noel Archambault got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Alec Gipson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute Noel Archambault shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darrel Ohara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Archambault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Darrel Ohara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sarnia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
